Eva Burton is an artist based in Bilbao, the Basque Country. Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, she studied Art Restoration at the University of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires. In 2010, she moved to Barcelona, and in 2014, she completed her studies in Artistic Jewelry at Escola Massana. In 2018, she earned a Master of Fine Arts with a specialization in Contemporary Jewelry and Stone Carving from Trier University of Applied Sciences in Idar-Oberstein, Germany.
Throughout her career, Eva's work has been exhibited internationally, represented by galleries, a finalist in renowned curated exhibitions, and featured in specialized publications and fashion editorials. She has also participated in collaborations and collective projects aimed at connecting diverse cultures and aesthetic disciplines. Eva does not limit herself to a single type of object; she constantly seeks new forms of expression, and play is a fundamental aspect of her life and artistic creations.

Statement
I take great pleasure in transforming my experiences into metaphors, adding a romantic—and sometimes ironic—view to the subtle details of our daily lives.
This mixture is what fills me. I want to find the connections between opposites and bring them into dialogue, making them dance, grow apart, come together, and play. My pieces resemble a magic potion that combines various elements from diverse harbors and corners. They are collages and assemblages through which I aim to reflect my world.
My way of composing is rooted in playful, instinctive foundations. I wander, exploring the colors of a familiar landscape, seeking that “welcome home” feeling—my Playground, that liminal space where everything is possible.
Reversal and inversion, exaggeration, paradox, and the playful exploration of boundaries, meanings, infinity, space, and time—this is what it means to be human. This embodies the concept of Homo Ludens.
